Rit's tip for Rit Liquid Evening Blue
For a stronger colour result and improved colour retention, Rit recommends using Rit ColorStay Dye Fixative after dyeing. The amount you need depends on the fabric type and the shade you want to achieve. One 207 ml bottle is usually enough for around 0.4 kg of dry fabric for a medium to dark tone. For lighter shades or larger projects, adjust the amount accordingly. Always test on a fabric scrap first to check the result. For a subtle layered effect, you can also mix a few drops of Rit Liquid Evening Blue with a lighter blue shade.
