Nano- Softshell Cobalt

The Nano- Softshell Cobalt is a smart, functional dressmaking fabric for your next sewing project. This high-quality fabric comes in a rich cobalt blue and uses modern NANOTEX® technology to give you a double-sided fabric that is water-repellent on both sides and breathable too. One side has a fine poplin look with a matte finish, while the other side features a soft, thin fleece in the same stylish cobalt tone. That makes it fully reversible, giving you plenty of creative options.

At 304 g/m², this fabric has a substantial feel and a stable plain weave, so it holds its shape more firmly than softer fabrics such as viscose. The crosswise stretch adds comfort and movement, making it practical as jacket fabric, coat fabric and sportswear fabric. It is well suited to jackets and coats, or comfortable, active pieces where you need a little give. You can even use it without a lining for a clean, modern finish.

The fabric is made from 92% polyester and 8% elastomer. It can be washed at 30°C, should not be bleached, tumble dried or ironed hot, and may be steam pressed. Because of the elastomer content, we recommend using a universal needle or stretch needle.
