McCall's Sewing pattern 8263 A

McCall's Sewing pattern 8263 A gives you a relaxed camp shirt and a matching bucket hat in one versatile sewing pattern. The shirt can be made with short or long sleeves, and the design includes tucks and optional patch pockets for a neat, modern finish. View C adds decorative trim for an extra touch. This is a medium-difficulty pattern, making it a good choice if you already have some sewing experience and want a project with clear lines and plenty of scope for your own style. The pattern is designed for men and women in sizes 34 to 58. This McCall's pattern includes 1.5 cm seam allowance unless otherwise noted, so you can get started with less measuring and cutting. It works well with stable, non-stretch fabrics such as cotton fabric, poplin, linen fabric or light denim, depending on the look you want. Choose a fabric by the metre that suits the shape and structure of the design for the best result. A practical choice for your dressmaking fabric stash, this pattern is ideal when you want to make both clothing and an accessory with a single sewing pattern. The shirt has a smart-casual feel, while the bucket hat is a useful extra for sunny days and relaxed outfits. A PDF size chart is included as a separate file for easy reference.
