McCall’s Sewing pattern 7131 B5 is a women’s sewing pattern for a modern culotte with a relaxed fit and a skirt-like look. It features a front waistband, pleats, an elasticated back, side front pockets and stitched hems. View D also includes an overlay with a narrow hem.
This is a medium-difficulty dressmaking pattern, ideal if you want a polished project with comfortable wear and a contemporary shape. The pattern is supplied in sizes 34 to 42.
For the best result, choose soft, draping fabrics such as viscose, cotton fabric or other fabric by the metre with good movement. For view D, a sheer contrast fabric such as chiffon also works well.
Please note: this McCall’s pattern includes 1.5 cm seam allowance unless stated otherwise, so you do not need to add it yourself.
