Imitation Leather Satin Bronze

Imitation Leather Satin Bronze is a robust, luxurious upholstery and dressmaking fabric with a beautiful satin sheen in a rich bronze shade. This coated imitation leather has a smooth surface, a firm plain weave and a weight of 550 grams per square metre. Made from 65% polyester and 35% cotton, it offers a durable, strong quality with little give, so it holds its shape well.

It offers excellent stain resistance and is also flame-retardant to Crib 5 standards. Because the material is water-, blood- and urine-resistant, it works particularly well for heavily used seating, cushions and other demanding interior projects. The imitation leather is resistant to rot and mildew and is easy to clean, making it a practical choice for long-lasting, hygienic use in the home.

Beyond sturdy soft furnishings, this material is also surprisingly suitable for striking structured clothing. Think of a bold jacket, a smart gilet or an elegant bolero. Although the fabric is not stretchy, it can be shaped beautifully with the right tools and techniques. Wash at 30 degrees maximum, do not bleach, avoid tumble drying and do not iron hot to help protect the coated surface.
