This plain, coated fabric has a subtle, authentic leather look in a rich saddle shade. At 550 gsm, it feels satisfyingly sturdy, while the 65% polyester and 35% cotton blend helps the fabric hold its shape and stay durable in use.

Ideal for interiors, furniture and statement clothing

This versatile faux leather is a practical choice for upholstery fabric and hard-working home furnishing projects. It is fire-retardant to Crib 5 standard and offers excellent abrasion resistance, making it suitable for high-use items. The surface also provides strong stain protection and is water-, blood- and urine-resistant. With a surface that is also rot-resistant, mould-resistant and bacteriostatic, your projects are easy to keep clean.

As a non-stretch material, it is also well suited to structured garments such as jackets, boleros and gilets, as well as bold dressmaking fabric applications. It has a firm handle and keeps its shape well, which makes it ideal when you want definition rather than drape. Care is straightforward too: wash at 30 degrees, steam if needed, do not bleach, do not tumble dry and do not iron hot.
