Gütermann Cotton 100m #GKA8724-100

Gütermann Cotton 100m #GKA8724-100 is a soft, smooth cotton sewing thread that gives your seams a natural look and a neat, professional finish. It is a practical choice for dressmaking, quilting and decorative stitching, and works beautifully in both home sewing rooms and professional studios.

Natural quality you can rely on

Made from 100% pure cotton, this thread combines a soft feel with impressive tear resistance and durability. The matte finish blends well with a wide range of fabrics, while the smooth construction helps it run cleanly through your machine for accurate stitching, overlock seams and safety seams.

Versatile for everyday sewing and quilting

Shade 8724 offers a subtle, elegant finish for all kinds of projects. You can use it for button sewing, buttonholes, topstitching, decorative seams and fine edgestitching. It is a dependable thread for clothing, quilts and home accessories, giving your work a polished result.

Useful sewing advice

For best results, use a universal needle size NM 60–80. As natural cotton can behave differently from synthetic thread, it is worth testing the tension on a fabric scrap first. If you want a bolder decorative effect or a stronger seam, you can also use the thread doubled.
