Gütermann Cotton 100m #GKA126-100 is a high-quality cotton sewing thread with a soft handle and a natural, matt finish. Made from 100% cotton, it gives your seams a neat, professional look and is a reliable choice for dressmaking, quilting and decorative stitching. The strong thread is tear- and abrasion-resistant, making it suitable for everyday sewing projects as well as items that need to stand up to regular use. Its colourfast finish helps your stitches keep looking good, even after frequent washing. This cotton thread is washable at 95°C, can be hot ironed, and is suitable for normal tumble drying and steam pressing. It is a practical option when you want durable results for clothing, home textiles and creative haberdashery projects. For best results, we recommend a universal needle in size NM 60–80. Always test the thread tension on a scrap first. If you want extra definition on topstitching or heavier fabrics, you can use the thread doubled for a more decorative effect.
