Gütermann Maraflex 300 is an elastic sewing thread designed for neat seams with plenty of movement. Made for the home sewing machine, it gives you a straight-stitch look with a flexible finish, making it a practical choice for stretch fabrics.

Thanks to Micro Core Technology®, the thread feeds smoothly and works well on light to medium-weight elastic fabrics and knitted fabrics. Use it for elastic seams, topstitching, necklines, narrow hems and attaching cuffs, where you want both stretch and a tidy result.

This spool contains 150 metres of thread in size 120. Maraflex is used as both top and bobbin thread, helping your seams move with the fabric while keeping their shape. It is a useful option for dressmaking fabric with stretch, whether you are sewing comfortable everyday clothes or more fitted garments.

For best results, use a jersey, stretch or super stretch needle in NM 70–80. We also recommend testing on a scrap first so you can find the right thread tension for your jersey fabric, cotton fabric with elastane, or other stretchy materials.
