Made from 97% cotton and 3% elastane, this corduroy stretch fabric has a comfortable crosswise stretch and a sturdy yet supple handle. With a weight of 325 g/m² and a matte finish, it is ideal for dressmaking fabric projects such as blazers, jackets, skirts and dresses. It also works beautifully for cushions and other home projects. This fabric by the metre is Oeko-Tex certified and finished to a high standard. Wash at 30 degrees, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, steam only and iron on a low heat. When cutting, use a pattern cut suitable for corduroy to keep the pile looking its best. A practical choice if you are looking for cotton fabric with a modern washed effect and a timeless corduroy feel.
