Sewing with Tula Pink cotton poplin
Made from 100% cotton, this non-stretch poplin has a smooth, matt surface and a stable plain weave that makes it easy to cut and sew. With a weight of 143 g/m² and a width of 112 cm, it has a medium drape: structured enough to hold its shape, yet comfortable to wear and work with. That makes it a versatile dressmaking fabric as well as a favourite for quilting and patchwork.
You can use it for blouses, skirts and dresses, or turn it into a standout quilt that shows off the print. It also works well for creative home sewing projects where you want a fresh, eye-catching cotton fabric. As always with cotton, it may crease a little, so it is best suited to projects where a natural look is part of the charm.
Care advice: wash at 30 degrees, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, iron on a low setting and it can be steam pressed.
