Create your own superhero world with this cotton satin

This dressmaking fabric is perfect if you want to add colour and character to a child’s space. Use it for cheerful curtains that gently filter the light, or cosy cushions where little heroes can dream up their next mission. The satin weave and pure cotton composition make the fabric wonderfully soft and comfortable against sensitive skin.

With a medium-soft drape, it combines a pleasant flow with just enough body for easy sewing. It is not stretchy, so it handles neatly and is straightforward to sew, even if you are newer to dressmaking. Wash at 30 degrees, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, and iron on a low heat. It can be dry cleaned, if needed.

There are plenty of ways to use this fabric: think a playful duvet cover, a sturdy tipi for the play corner, or matching storage baskets for superhero toys.
