4-layer muslin brown is a soft fabric with a natural look, made for baby clothes, blouses, dresses and skirts. This muslin has a matt finish, a plain weave and a weight of 231 grams per metre at a width of 130 cm. The blend of 80% cotton and 20% polyester gives the fabric extra stability and makes it pleasant to sew.

This 4-layer muslin brown is ideal for airy garments and softer projects where you want a relaxed drape. The four layers are lightly bonded together, creating the characteristic crinkled texture that makes muslin so popular. TVI Drapability: 3/5, which means the fabric falls nicely while still having enough body for blouses, dresses and a skirt.

For baby projects, this is a lovely choice, as well as for a blouse or dress with a calm, natural feel. It also makes a beautiful base for a skirt. The fabric is non-stretch, sold by the metre and certified OEKO-TEX 1. Wash at 30 degrees, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, dry clean only and do not iron hot.
