Linen Look Saxon Silver is a stylish fabric by the metre with a calm silver tone and the natural character of linen fabric. The matte surface gives it a soft, refined appearance, while the subtle texture adds depth. At 390 g/m², it feels substantial and stable, with a firm drape that still hangs beautifully.
This hardwearing blend of 85% polyester and 15% cotton offers the look of linen with easier everyday care. It is less prone to creasing than pure linen, making it a practical choice for busy homes and creative sewing projects.
A versatile dressmaking and furnishing fabric
Thanks to its Martindale rating of 100,000, this fabric is well suited to hard-working projects such as curtains, cushions, bags and upholstery. It is also a lovely dressmaking fabric if you want a structured, linen-inspired finish for your makes.
The fabric is not stretchy and has a width of 140 cm, giving you plenty of room for a wide range of sewing projects. Care is straightforward too: wash at 30 degrees, do not bleach, do not tumble dry, and iron on a low heat. Steam gently if needed.
