The yarn is strong, not elastic, and has a soft sheen, just like silk. You can process this yarn in the same way as polyester and cotton yarn, on the sewing machine and by hand. TIP: If you are going to dye fabric, use silk thread in color 800 (white) which you can dye in the same color.
